Summer 2023 is going to be great!
We have some exciting times planned, and we are praying that God will help us love and serve Him passionately as we impact our world for Christ!
LIGHT Summer '23
Weekly - Together 4 JEsus
We will be getting together weekly with youth groups from our town as we seek to love and serve Jesus together.
We will meet at a local park (or another place in case of bad weather) to sing, learn, and play together. We are going to look at 7 questions that Jesus asked in the book of Mark and how they help us live for Him in our world today.
Three times during the summer we will go out into our community and serve them together in ways that help those who live around us see the love of Jesus through His people in action.
VBS 2023
We will be partnering with Grace Community Church to do Vacation Bible School again!
We are hosting and would love to have you serve the kids from our area through helping with VBS. Watch for more information on how you can serve and how you can make an impact for Jesus!

Mystery Missions Days
There are a lot of great Christians impacting their world for Christ, and we want to introduce them to our students! We also want to come alongside these people and organizations and help them accomplish what God is tasking them to do for His Kingdom.
We will be taking 5 mystery mission trips this summer, each one being a day-trip (or possibly an overnight if helpful). We will load up in the morning, and our students will not know where we are serving until they get there. After spending these days, we hope that God will work in us to continue to serve as His Spirit moves in our hearts, and that we will serve here in our local area in ways that He shapes us to serve.
Return To Hope '23
We will be going back to the Quad Cities to serve with Cal and Joyce Klopp at Hope at the Brick House! The dates are July 30th-August 5th
We are planning a great week, including an extra Saturday on the end of the trip to invite others from our church to come and serve through work projects and other means.
Sign up will begin April 1st and we will be raising funds to help offset the cost of the trip, which will be approximately $200 for the week all-inclusive.
